Wired To The Moon was commissioned by Ballet Cymru in 2019. The piece explores the idea of a distant or unreachable place, brought to life through the visionary designs of Bristol-based designer Eleanor Bull and a captivating new score by LA-based composer Katya Richardson. The choreography is inspired by the intricate functioning of systems—whether human, animal, or machine—and examines how these systems respond and adapt to changes in their environment. The concept reflects on how technology extends our world, emphasising the need for balance in an increasingly interconnected existence.
