Charlotte Edmonds is a choreographer and filmmaker whose work merges classical precision with a cinematic, emotionally charged approach to movement for stage and screen. She trained at The Royal Ballet School and Rambert School, and holds a Master’s in Choreography from Central School of Ballet.

Breaking ground early in her career, Charlotte became The Royal Ballet’s inaugural Young Choreographer, establishing a practice that spans dance, film, and contemporary visual culture. Alongside her stage practice, Charlotte choreographs and movement directs across film, music, and broadcast. Her recent work includes music and screen collaborations with artists such as Jehnny Beth, Gretel and Duran Duran, as well as projects including Lola Young’s Messy performance on The Graham Norton Show. Her cross-disciplinary practice spans cultural and commercial contexts, with collaborators including Sotheby’s, Gazelli Art House, Soho House, Burberry, Nike x Spotify, Belstaff, Dove, Tena and The Beaumont.

As a Clore Fellow (2019), Charlotte is recognised as part of a distinguished network of cultural leaders. In 2026, she joins the trustee board of York Theatre Royal, contributing to the future direction of one of the UK’s leading regional theatres.
